Financial Literacy Month
April 2023

In today’s uncertain economy, planning for your financial future is more important than ever. Join us for Financial Literacy Month, a month-long event where you can choose from a variety of programs to help you reach your goals or get back on track.
Educational Workshops
Throughout the month, there will be a series of educational workshops presented by financial professionals on such topics as: investing, financial planning, credit reports and scores and how to get a business loan.
Each workshop will be live-streamed, recorded and available on the library's Youtube channel.
LA Saves Tabling Events
Throughout the month there will also be a series of tabling events with financial professionals from the Los Angeles Alliance for Economic Inclusion. The tabling events will focus on encouraging people to pledge to save money and will take place at select branch library locations.
Financial Literacy Day, April 22 at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Don't miss this opportunity for a free, private in-person consultation with a Certified Financial PlannerTM on a variety of personal financial issues, including debt management, retirement planning, investment strategies, income taxes, insurance and estate planning, among many others. Learn more.
The Financial Literacy Day appointment line is now closed. Walk-ins are welcome, per financial planner availability.
Please Note: There is a limited number of appointments that can be taken for this event. A larger version of this event is also happening in October.
