New e-Media Offerings!
New e-Media sites are now available with your LAPL card! Digitalia Public Library has Spanish language e-books to read online or downloaded, as well as language courses and multimedia sections with art, music and PC instruction. Digitalia Film Library offers streaming films available to watch online, mostly foreign language. Includes feature films as well as documentaries.

Sign Up for CalFresh and Medi-Cal at your library! Los Angeles Public Library has partnered with the LA County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) and we are helping to serve your family’s needs. DPSS Outreach staff will be available at select library branches to accept your CalFresh and Medi-Cal applications and to answer all your questions about these programs.
