About the Event
Gael García Bernal stars in Alonso Ruizpalacios’ 2018 film based on the true story of a famous 1985 Mexican museum heist. Two students at loose ends decide to steal precious Mayan, Mixtec, and Zapotec artifacts but the robbery itself is the easy part. Figuring out what to do with the priceless artworks when the whole country is outraged by their theft is much harder.
