About the Event

Enjoy a shadow performance of a traditional Japanese folktale, then create, project and take home your own puppets! 

Puppet-maker and storyteller Sunny Seki was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. He won his first art award at age 9. He graduated from Japan University of Photography and studied illustration at Pasadena Art Center for College of Design. Sunny is the author and illustrator of award-winning books of Japanese folktales. His work has been featured on the Disney Channel.
