About the Event

Join us in the Student Zone to explore valuable resources! Participate in hands-on sessions featuring demonstrations on digitization, oral history recording, and archival best practices. Discover DIY archiving resources at the Watts Branch Library, including a check-out option for an oral history backpack with a Zoom recorder and a helpful guide for your archiving project.

Attend in person on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, anytime between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. We will provide collage and paper materials at each session for a screen-free break. For virtual sessions, RSVP on our Eventbrite page.

The Los Angeles Public Library offers this workshop as part of "Community: Your Archive, Your Legacy," an initiative supported by the Library Foundation of Los Angeles and funded by the Mellon Foundation.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event.
