Make Seed Bombs With Native Flowers

About the Event

You’ll get to create and take home seed pods (also known as seed bombs) made from clay, native seeds, and compost! Learn how Native nations like the Hopi and Acoma Pueblo engineered special clay pots to store seeds and protect them from bugs and critters. In this workshop participants will learn hands-on about native California plants, flowers, pollinators, and the ecosystem. This program is geared towards teens age 11 and up.

Please RSVP at the Echo Park reference desk or by calling (213) 250-7808.
