Description:

Celebrate Día de Muertos at the Octavia Lab. Discover the ancient Mexican folk art of tin embossing or "repujado" with artist and educator Miriam Quezada. This special workshop will cover techniques for engraving or "pushing out" drawings on metal to create beautiful artwork.

The Octavia Lab is a do-it-yourself maker space located inside the Los Angeles Public Library's historic Central Library.
