Teen Council & Study Lounge

Join a group of your peers in making a difference at the library! Teen Council is an opportunity to develop leadership skills, meet other teens, plan library programs, and collaborate on other projects all while you earn community service hours. Ages 11-19 (still in high school if 19) are welcome to join.

Need a calm, quiet place to catch up on assignments and prep for exams? During most of the school year (see all dates below), the Meeting Room will be reserved until 3:00 PM for teens as a Study Lounge. Come for Teen Council (12:00 PM to 1:00 PM) then hang out after (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM) to make use of the space for solo or group study sessions.
