About the Event

For Latino Heritage Month, we will be showing Stand and Deliver (1988). Based on the true story of Garfield High School mathematics teacher Jaime Escalante, who inspired eighteen Latino students to pass advanced placement calculus in 1982. Recommended for ages 12-18.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event. The City will make every effort to accommodate requests received with less notice.
