End of Life Planning 101: Housing, Belongings, and Access
About the Event
The End-of-Life Planning 101 workshop series is designed to help individuals understand, navigate, and take action on key end-of-life planning topics. Facilitated by the PAUSE team and rotating BIPOC death doulas and guest speakers, each 90-minute session offers education, grounding, and space for questions around essential documents and decisions - from advance directives and wills to body disposition, digital legacy, and grief plans for loved ones. Whether participants are just beginning to think about end-of-life planning or need support updating existing paperwork, this series provides compassionate, culturally relevant guidance to approach these conversations with clarity, care, and confidence.
Session Focus: Housing, Belongings, and Access
This session explores how to prepare for the future by planning for your home, personal belongings, and access to important property, regardless of your living situation. Participants will learn practical strategies for renters, homeowners, and unhoused community members, including property transfer, home documentation, and storage planning. By the end of the session, participants will have the tools to organize their plans in ways that reflect their unique circumstances and help ease the responsibilities of loved ones.
