Join our monthly book discussion! It is held on the second Saturday of each month. The discussion will be led by a different member of our staff and the book of their choice. Pick up the next book a month before the discussion.

Join Tiffney this month as we merge Women's History Month with Let's Read Los Angeles (our Los Angeles-centric book club) and read I Lost My Girlish Laughter.

This lost literary gem (it was first published in 1938) was actually written under the pseudonym of Jane Allen by two women, Silvia Schulman (personal secretary to David O. Selznick) and playwright Jane Shore. Ever wish you could time travel back to a life on the movie studio lots of 1930s Hollywood? Read all about the tales of Madge, the personal secretary of a powerful Hollywood producer!
