Description:

Join creatives from the KAOS Network to design your very own Illuminated Heritage Masks. In this workshop, participants will create a simple circuit using conductive materials, LEDs, and a battery. Following a demonstration of the laser cutter, participants will then integrate the circuit into a laser cut mask. Let your creativity shine with LEDs!

The Octavia Lab is a do-it-yourself maker space located inside the Los Angeles Public Library's historic Central Library.

This event is part of the No Prior Art program series, which celebrates invention and innovation. No Prior Art runs from September 2024 to May 2025 and will result in 50+ programs across 22 participating branch locations. To learn more, please visit lapl.org/nopriorart.
