Description:

The Eagle Rock Book Club explores both acclaimed newer books and rediscovered classics of the past.  

The selection for November is The Berry Pickers by Amanda Peters. This debut novel explores the life of a Mi’kmaq family from Nova Scotia. When the four-year-old daughter goes missing from the blueberry fields of Maine, it becomes a tragic mystery that haunts the survivors, unravels a family, and remains unsolved for almost fifty years.

The library will have copies to check out, or check our e-media page for electronic access on Libby and hoopla. Please bring book suggestions for future meetings.

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
