Sheet Music Request Service

The Art, Music, & Recreation Department offers a sheet music request service, and will send up to three songs to any Los Angeles Public Library branch for patron pickup.

For assistance in locating sheet music, please call the department during business hours at 213-228-7225, or via email. You can also use the Song Index, an online finding aid to songs held by the Art, Music, & Recreation Department.

Orchestrations

The department’s orchestral scores collection contains over 2,000 orchestral scores (with parts), which are loaned to orchestras in Southern California. There are fees for this rental service. Collection holdings can be searched in Orchestrations Catalog. For more information about renting an orchestration or setting up an institutional account for your local orchestra, call the Orchestral Scores Service at 213-228-7231 during the Central Library’s business hours or via email.
