Description:

Come learn about the Shona mbira, an ancient instrument used to honor ancestors and the Zimbabwean marimba, an ensemble that is found in schools throughout southern Africa. Attendees will learn a welcome song and have a chance to play with Masanga Marimba, an ensemble that was founded at CSUN in 2001.
