Speak English with confidence! This English conversation class is perfect for beginner and intermediate levels. Adults will use common words and expressions. This class focuses on informal and practical English for work, school, home, or community. Learners will have the opportunity to practice with the instructor and their peers and be offered feedback to promote progress.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
