Description:

Calling all teens! Celebrate African American Heritage Month with a classic in Children's literature! Circle Unbroken presents the story of the sweetgrass basket and its people, with a story by Margot Theis Raven, illustrations by E.B. Lewis, and music by William Grant Still. After the reading, we will discuss the story's historical significance and make a plant-fiber keychain in honor of the book's message. Best for Ages 11-18.

The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
