The Active Studio: Hojalata Embossed Artwork

The Active Studio is a program geared towards older adults. In this session, we will be presenting Hojalata - or the art of embossing tin. These creations are fun & meditative to create. A single hanging art piece can be created in anywhere from 10-45 minutes, depending on the crafter’s vision (and patience!). We’ll provide all the tools and a display of inspirational ideas, as well as templates to follow for some favorite designs. Lastly, we’ll have crafters hang their finished piece from twine so that it’s ready to display.
