About the Event

Are you working on a short film for the Teens of LA Film Festival? Or just interested in learning more about film making from experts? 

Join the library and the CA Student Film Festival for a teen program to plan your movie before you shoot it. Learn about the planning tools that filmmakers use before production: screenplays, 2-column video scripts and storyboards. Screenwriting isn't just writing dialogue, it's designing what the audience will see, hear, understand and feel. 

Learn about directing in a second program at the Memorial Branch on Tuesday, June 16 at 4:30 p.m.
