Please note that service availability operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and we cannot guarantee item repair. Each session is limited to one item or repair service. If you have multiple items, you may sign up for another repair session only after your first item has been repaired. Sign-ups will close at 12 p.m. noon.

Join us for our upcoming Repair & Fix-It Cafe! Services include the following below:

Simple clothes mending & repair. Alterations are not available.
Shredding: 1 banker's box/person available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Small appliance repair
Service your bike with Bikerowave volunteers
Computer troubleshooting (PCs only)
Speak with the Council District 5 Office, Councilmember Yaroslavsky
Speak with LA Metro

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
