Description:

Step behind the scenes of Hollywood magic! Join veteran artist and educator Paul Thompson with over 30 years in the entertainment industry for a live presentation exploring how full-size entertainment robots and animatronics are created. This talk includes a showcase of props and insight into 3D modeling, printing, fabrication, and puppeteering.

The Octavia Lab is a do-it-yourself maker space located inside the Los Angeles Public Library's historic Central Library.
