Guerrilla Gardening: DIY Seed Bombs

About the Event

Few things are as fun as getting your hands dirty, especially when the results are clay and compost seed bombs filled with California native wildflower seeds.

In this talk-and-do workshop, participants will learn about the origin of “seed green-aids,” other green movements past and present, and will be encouraged to talk about their own ideas about sustainability and climate change.

All materials are provided, and participants take home a bag full of bombs with instructions on how and when to successfully launch them.

This program is intended for teens, but children ages 5 and up, and adults are welcome too. Weather permitting, this program will be held outdoors on the library patio.

This program was made possible with the generous support of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event.
