About the Event
A friendly foray into the world of open access tools available to anyone with a computer and a desire to preserve digital media with future-forward practices in mind. An introduction to command line level computing and scripts specifically for working with a wide range of audiovisual media file formats. There will be plenty of hands-on time for application of concepts using video files.
The workshop will cover:

- Hard drive choices, health and organization
- Common risks and solutions
