About the Event

The Library's Quartet-in-Residence, the Fiato Quartet, brings us music from the original masters of the string quartet genre. First on the program is The Joke from the father of the string quartet, Franz Joseph Haydn - you won't want to miss the punch line! Next hear the string quartet's evolution in the riveting Harp quartet from Haydn's most famous pupil, Ludwig van Beethoven.

The Westwood Library will be opened on a Sunday for this special event. The parking garage will be open at 2 p.m. Regular library services will not be available.
A heartfelt thanks go to our co-sponsors: The Friends of Westwood Branch Library, Los Angeles Musical Salon, the Rosalind and Arthur Gilbert Foundation, Westwood Neighborhood Council, Belmont Village Senior Living, Westwood Homeowners Association, and Opera Buffs.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event.
