Tam Tran Goes to Washington - East West Players' Theatre

About the Event

Join us for Tam Tran Goes to Washington, an East West Players' production that promotes cultural understanding and racial tolerance with stories about pioneering and groundbreaking AAPI figures.

Synopsis: Tam Tran, a UCLA graduate and filmmaker, loves Radiohead and spending time with her best friend Cinthya. Both Tam and Cinthya are undocumented Americans fighting for their right to dream. When Tam is invited to testify before the Senate and the DREAM Act, she's terrified. But with the support from her friends, teachers, and mother, she finds the courage to share her story and advocate for change.
