Film Screening: One Hundred and One Dalmatians

About the Event

In this 1961 Disney animated classic (rated G), Pongo the Dalmatian lives with his owner Roger, but they’re both getting tired of the bachelor life. Pongo spies the lovely Perdita, and maneuvers Roger into meeting Perdita's cute owner, Anita. The owners fall in love and marry, and Pongo and Perdita join them in their marital bliss. Perdita soon gives birth to a litter, but the new puppies catch the gimlet eye of Anita's old school friend Cruella De Vil, who decides she wants them all. When Roger declines her offer to buy them, Cruella hires the bumbling Badun brothers to abduct them for her -- so that she can turn them into a lavish Dalmatian fur coat. Pongo and Perdita enlist the help of the many dogs in their London neighborhood to form a posse and rescue the pups from Cruella’s mansion, before she can recycle them into her diabolical fashion statement.
