Grand Opening: Sensory Spaces for Kids and Teens

About the Event

Join us and our local Council District 13 reps for a special open house event to celebrate our new sensory spaces designed for kids and teens!

Thanks to the Youth-Empowering Sensory Spaces (YESS) initiative, we have renovated our children’s and teen spaces to be more accessible and welcoming for neurodiverse youth. These sensory spaces are specifically created to support individuals with developmental disabilities, learning difficulties, and sensory sensitivities.

Enjoy snacks, special performances, and sensory-friendly activities. Families can also connect with several local organizations serving neurodivergent youth, including the Lanterman Center, Help Me Grow LA, the Braille Institute, PlayLA Youth & Adaptive sports and more.
