About the Event

Explore the new DIY archiving resources available at the North Hollywood Branch Library! You can reserve time with the Epson Expression 13000XL to scan photographs, negatives, and more. Learn how you can check out an oral history backpack, with a Zoom recorder and guide to help you get started on your own archiving project.

Join us in the Community Room to learn about these resources, related programming, and ask us about personal archiving. In-person sessions are hands-on, with opportunity for guided demonstrations.

Drop in any time between 11am and 12pm on the second & fourth Wednesday* of each month. No prior knowledge or experience with an archival scanner or Zoom recorder necessary–we will learn together!

*The first program in February will take place on Tuesday, Feb 3, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The Los Angeles Public Library offers this workshop as part of Community: Your Archive, Your Legacy, an initiative supported by the Library Foundation of Los Angeles and funded by the Mellon Foundation.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event.
