About the Event

Join us to practice your baking skills and learn about the Navajo Code Talkers! We'll gather the day after National Navajo Code Talkers Day to explore Native history and the fascinating use of coded messages during the World Wars. As part of our activities, we'll be baking delicious pumpkin maple cookies using a recipe from The Modern Navajo Kitchen by Alana Yazzie.
