The Active Studio: Watercolor Painting

About the Event

The Active Studio is a program geared towards older adults. This session is a watercolor painting workshops that offer participants a creative and relaxing environment to explore the art of watercolor. Attendees will learn techniques such as blending, layering, and creating washes, and will have a chance to experiment with painting still life. The workshop fosters artistic expression, providing all necessary materials, and encouraging individual creativity and personal style. Depending on the season, we’ll offer some tabletop inspiration for painting (such as seashells for summer)!

This program is supported by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
