Smart Phone Skills Workshop for Seniors

About the Event

Seniors and Adults are welcome to attend a special Smart Phone Essentials Workshop with Bridge The Digital Divide.

Bridge The Digital Divide is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to sustainably re-purpose technology to enable digital access. Their mission is to close the digital divide through free digital literacy training, tech access, and e-waste recycling-ensuring no one is left behind in the digital age.

In this workshop we will introduce participants to Android and iPhone mobile devices. Learners will find out about using touch gestures and discover common apps. A primary objective of the workshop is for learners to increase confidence in their ability to use their devices safely.

This event is hosted by the Platt Library's Teen Council and generously funded by the Library Foundation of Los Angeles Teens Leading Change Initiative.
