Intro to Geocaching and Transmitter Hunting + HAM Radio Training

Are you interested in geocaching (treasure hunting) or transmitter hunting (a way to find lost hikers, downed aircraft, and repeaters) with us this summer? This is a fun thing to do for all, and a great way for new HAMs to learn to use their radios.

Join us to try out geocaching and transmitter hunting. Roozy, our HAM radio instructor, will be there to program any YAESU FT-60R radios for you. Bring your HAM radio if you have one. Make sure it is fully charged. Radios may be provided (email ecalla@lapl.org to request), but supplies are limited.
