Japanese Shadow Puppets and Folklore
About the Event
Celebrated children's book author and artist Sunny Seki will enchant the audience with this demonstration of the craft of traditional Japanese shadow puppets. After a shadow puppet show that brings enthralling Japanese folktales to life, kids will have the opportunity to craft shadow puppets of their own to continue telling their stories in an enchanting fashion. This program is recommended for kids ages 5 and up.
