About the Event

Do you like sports? Does literature speak to you? Would you like to go for a walk? Then join us for our bi-monthly Book Walk and Talk. This month we celebrate African American Heritage Month!

Meet us at Central Library's 630 West 5th Street Entrance and we'll head out on another brisk walk to and from Molina Park. We'll be discussing selections from I'm That Girl: Living the Power of My Dreams by Jordan Chiles, and select poems from Joy in the Belly of a Riot: Poems, Prayers, Memories, and Meditations by Barbara Fant.

This event is perfect for all readers ages 18 and up.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with fellow book lovers and discuss these literary gems. Mark your calendars for a morning of fun, book discussion, and the outdoors. We can't wait to see you here!

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event.
