In this presentation, the Federal Trade Commission will be discussing common scams that target older communities, including government and business impersonation, romance, investment opportunities and home repair scams. The FTC will also cover tips and best practices for spotting and avoiding common scams and what to do if you or a loved one gets scammed.

Walk-in tutoring is available for any adult who needs help with internet searches, filling out forms, English conversation, reading, writing, resumes, and applications, studying for citizenship tests, and basic cell phone and computer use.

Walk-in tutoring is available for any adult who needs help with internet searches, filling out forms, English conversation, reading, writing, resumes, and applications, studying for citizenship tests, and basic cell phone and computer use. No appointments or reservations are required. The 20-minute sessions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
