About the Event

Learn to grow your own food from a balcony to the backyard! Los Angeles is an amazing climate that allows us to grow everything form tropical fruits like bananas and melons to cold weather crops like beets and brussels sprouts. It is this amazing year round growing season that can make producing your food such a fun and rewarding process. Whether you are a first time gardener or a seasoned green thumb, join urban farmer and educator Elliott Kuhn for an in depth presentation on how you can start your own journey from seed to table.

Participants will be treated to fresh produce samples and have the ability to take select seeds home to start their own garden projects.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event. The City will make every effort to accommodate requests received with less notice.
