Celebrating Historic Los Angeles for the USA's 250th Anniversary

Let’s explore the rich history of Los Angeles as we celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States. Over time, alongside Native Americans, various immigrant groups have arrived, including Jewish, African American, and Latino communities, as well as individuals from many European backgrounds. Today, we honor the remarkable blend of cultures that has shaped the vibrant Los Angeles we know. The program will be presented by Dr. Lisbeth Gant-Britton, an Associate Professor Adjunct for the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), and a full-time lecturer at California State University, Northridge (CSUN).
