About the Event

Join Dr. Gloria Arjona as she presents Califorios Unveiled. This program will explore the history and culture of the Californios through music, storytelling, and historical anecdotes, bringing to life the people, traditions, and experiences of early California.

As an educator and performer, Dr. Gloria Arjona believes in the power of oral literature to convey the rich cultures of Latin America; therefore, in her lectures, she includes live music, media, poetry, and traditional attire.
