About the Event

The Woodland Hills Library Gardening Club presents a special program in partnership with LA Compost!

Join LA Compost Education Coordinator Cindy Villaseñor for an engaging workshop on composting basics—perfect for anyone interested in turning food scraps and yard waste into nutrient-rich soil. Learn simple, practical steps you can take at home to reduce waste and help your garden thrive.

This workshop introduces community members of all ages and experience levels to basic composting principles and benefits. Participants will also learn about the three main composting options available across Los Angeles: at home, with LA Compost, or through municipal waste services.

Open to all.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event.
