About the Event
"What does it mean to be a citizen of a flawed country, and how much can one person change it?" That's the question asked by playwright Rosie Narasaki in her play When Yuri Met Malcolm.
Join the East West Players Theatre for Youth Tour as they examine the life of Yuri Kochiyama, and how her friendship with Civil Rights leader Malcolm X led her from Japanese internment camps to a lifetime of activism.
For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event. The City will make every effort to accommodate requests received with less notice.
