Earn volunteer credit while improving library services for teens like you!

Teen Council is a space to earn volunteer hours or just connect with friends over snacks and a different fun activity each month like crafts or gaming. This space is open only to those aged 10-19.

Join us as we select a YA book to read together and discuss.

Walk-in tutoring is available for any adult who needs help with internet searches, filling out forms, English conversation, reading, writing, resumes, and applications, studying for citizenship tests, and basic cell phone and computer use.

Join Teen Council to learn how you can make and impact and gain leadership experience.

Teens will gain a hands-on introduction to airbrush art, including equipment, safety practices, basic techniques such as shading and blending, and the creative applications of airbrushing in illustration, apparel design, graphic design, and fine art.

Ages 10-18: Learn how you can volunteer to help Sylmar Library while enjoying pizza and four-player Wii Videogames.

Join us for stories and songs, followed by playtime. For children of all ages and their families.
