About the Event

Join us for a discussion of 1984 by George Orwell. In this classic dystopian novel, Winston Smith lives under the watchful eye of a powerful government that controls information, rewrites history, and demands complete loyalty from its citizens. As Winston begins to question the world around him, he risks everything in his search for truth and freedom. Together, we’ll explore the novel’s themes of surveillance, propaganda, censorship, individuality, truth, and the dangers of unchecked power in a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space where all perspectives are encouraged and respected.
