About the Event

The Eagle Rock Book Club explores both acclaimed newer books and rediscovered classics of the past.

The selection for February is Red at the Bone by Jacqueline Woodson. This book tells the story of two families from different social classes who are joined together by an unexpected pregnancy and the child that it produces. Moving forward and backward in time, this novel uncovers the role that history and community have played in the experiences, decisions, and relationships of these families and in the life of this child.

The library will have copies to check out, or check our e-media page for electronic access on Libby and hoopla.
