About the Event

The Eagle Rock Book Club explores both newer acclaimed books and rediscovered classics of the past.

The selection for July is The Paris Library by Janet Skeslien Charles. This work of historical fiction tells the story of Odile Souchet, a young librarian at the American Library in Paris during World War II. When the Nazis invade, she risks her life in the Resistance. The book then follows Odile's later life in Montana, her friendship with teenage neighbor Lily, and Lily's discovery of a secret that connects them.

The library will have copies to check out, or check our e-media page for electronic access on Libby and hoopla.

Please bring book suggestions for future meetings.
