LA Nature Quest Kick-Off: The Adventure Begins at Griffith Park

About the Event

Celebrate the Launch of the 2026 LA Nature Quest!

This citywide project invites Angelenos of all ages to photograph wild plants, animals, insects, and fungi in their neighborhoods throughout October. Each photo helps scientists track and protect the City's incredible biodiversity.

Join us for fun family-friendly activities, exploring and journaling about local wildlife, and discovering how you can contribute to this year's Nature Quest.

It is highly recommended that you download the iNaturalist app (AndroidiOS) and sign up for an account before arriving at the event. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.

📌 Registration Required: Register to attend on Eventbrite
