Photographer's Eye: Richard Hewett's Hollywood

About the Event

Los Angeles-based Photographer Richard Hewett worked for several major magazines and newspapers, most notably Life, Look, TV Guide, and The Los Angeles Times. His images of daily life in mid-century Los Angeles reflect the fashion, technology, and the entertainment industry, often infused with humor, warmth, and drama. Included in the presentation will be selections from his photo essays of teenagers in Wallich's Music City listening booths, behind the scenes of the Queen For A Day game show, medical treatment followed by arrests at Central Receiving Hospital, and a travelogue of Hollywood landmarks.

For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event.
