About the Event
Learn about the importance of independent news in this Pizza & Politics session featuring special guests from The Southlander, the first and only worker-led investigative newsroom in the greater Los Angeles region. If you're wondering what that means, are interested in journalism and the media, or just want free pizza, then this event is for you! Come with questions, curiosity, and a big appetite.
Pizza & Politics is a series of discussion-based events for teens focusing on different political topics, current events, and community organizations. This session will take place during September's Teen Council meeting and is open to ages 11-19 (still in high school if 19). Registration is required.
