LA Nature Quest at El Escorpión Canyon Park

Join Troop 22 Scout Max and Los Angeles Park Urban Ecologist, Ryan Kinzel, for an afternoon exploring El Escorpión Canyon Park and documenting the plants, wildlife, fungi, and other organisms that call this area home.

Participants will use iNaturalist to collect biodiversity observations that contribute to our understanding of nature across Los Angeles and support Eagle Scout project. 

Important Note About Facilities:

• There are no restrooms or drinking fountains at the park, so please plan accordingly. A water refill station will be available. Please help us reduce waste by bringing a reusable water bottle.

Before the Event:

• Registration is required. Register on Eventbrite
• Download the iNaturalist app (Android | iOS) and sign up for an account.

What to Bring:

• Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug repellent, water bottle, and comfortable walking shoes and clothing. Check weather and dress accordingly.
