Henna: Culture, Art and Tradition
Tue, Oct 13 2026
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
About the Event
The presenter, Kushboo Manchanda, has been a henna artist for over ten years. Join us to learn about the use and significance of henna across cultures, discover the process of making henna paste and learn about its application. Some participants will have an opportunity to receive a small henna design.
Space for getting a henna design is limited, and priority will be given to teens in attendance on a first come, first served basis.
For disability-related accommodations, please call (213) 228-7430 at least five business days prior to the event. The City will make every effort to accommodate requests received with less notice.
