"We Can Do It!": Musical Theater Performance by the Ebell of Los Angeles

About the Event

Step back in time and experience the untold stories of the women who powered a nation during one of its most challenging eras. "We Can Do It," a new musical commissioned by The Ebell of Los Angeles and its Herstory Project, brings to life the courage, resilience, and struggles of the Rosie the Riveters of World War II. This compelling production showcases the lives of three extraordinary women—an Irish immigrant, a Mexican American, and an African American—each fighting their own battles as they work on the home front in 1942 Los Angeles.
Through their stories, you’ll be transported to a time when the impact of war, anti-Mexican sentiment, Executive Order 8802, and gender inequality shaped the lives of women across America.
Join us for an unforgettable performance that honors the strength and determination of these pioneering women, who helped lay the foundation for future generations
